What a year 2011 was! We started off by building a new hunting lodge with two bedrooms, two baths and a big sitting room. Very comfy for our clients. As we were finishing painting, our first antelope hunters showed up. Starting right then it was better than I expected. Big numbers of mature bucks made it a blast to hunt. With 10 hunters killing 10 bucks (76" average) we couldn't have had a more successful season. Our mule deer hunting was much of the same. Seven hunters worked hard and filled with seven awesome bucks. Seeing large numbers daily (20-40 bucks) made it deer heaven. When all was said and done, three bucks went in the 180's and a few 170's. Good news for 2012, we missed a 195 class and 6x7 that was all of 190! Elk hunting started out strong and continued all the way to the end. November came and so did the elk. With a couple of thousand on the ranch, guys were nearly 100% on bulls. What a year! Here are some pics from 2012. If you have any questions, call John at (970) 629-2266.
